I bought some quick struts about 18 months ago and threw them on because my factory struts were shot. I haven't driven them much in the last 8 months. So they have about 10k miles on them. I heard a big bang a couple weeks ago. Thought it was the strut. I ordered two new ones and assembled the factory springs/boots with new struts and tops last week. I threw them on today. Struts weren't the issue. As soon as we dropped the control arms, the sway bar end link disassembled. Oh well, new struts don't hurt. So... I have two front quick struts for sale. I'll try to upload a photo later. Asking $40 for the pair. I'll probably do the rears so they all match at some point...
I replace the rears as well now. All 4 are available. Free... The tops, dust boots, and springs are fine. Did I mention... free
In an effort to get rid of these... I have broken them down. The top hats are perfect, the dust boots and bump stops are mint. The springs are kinda rusty, but what used springs aren't. The struts do compress fairly easily, but do rebound. I'm going to start putting parts in the bin. If you want anything else, let me know.
