FS 2011 Outback 3.6R Limited

So the fine folks at JM Auto diagnosed my 2011 Outback 3.6R Limited as needing a full gasket job to resolve the oil leaks that have gotten worse over the last 6-12 months.

I’m not sure that makes sense for me to drop $4500 on that work, but if you have a hookup to do the work cheaper or want to tackle it yourself, you could end up with a sweet car

Good
———
- One owner — me. 113,000 miles, spent 6 years in California.
- All regular maintenance done (100k service etc)
- Interior is in near-perfect shape. Heated tan leather, factory Harmon Kardon stereo
- Has a nice 2” hidden hitch.
- 3.6R is a great engine for the Outback!
- Has the suspension from a 5th-gen Outback, which makes it handle way better. Plus a larger RSB
- Tires were replaced last year with a $$ set of Michelin All-Weather tires
- full Weathertech floor mats and trunk mat
- Factory remote start

Bad
———
- Oil leaks as described above, about a silver-dollar size overnight per side.
- The stereo volume knob doesn’t work, so I just use the steering wheel controls.
- Exterior is black and good condition overall, but has some hail dings and normal chips/scratches

I had a tough time coming up with a good price balancing the positives and work needed, but just updated the post with a price! I’ll ask the mods to move the thread to FS.
