Works in older HumminBird and Lowrance units. I had this in a Lowrance GlobalMap 3500c for a few years. The lowrance is for sale as well if you're interested.

I just picked up a new Humminbird with the new v5 lakemaster chip. I did a double take when I saw that version number on the box because I knew the chip I had at home was v7.

 

What unit did you pick up?

I wanted the SI but I'll wait until they go down in price in a year or so and put the 859 up front. I'm loving the DI, it's awesome. Switching between the two or side by side and you being able to see what some of those unknown "blobs" are is fantastic.

Was that just a clump of weeds...nope school of bait fish. Now I know.
