Is there more room in the back seat than the Impreza?

 

Yes, not a huge amount but its not cramped in the head dept where the c pillars start to close in on you like in an impreza.

 

IME there is not more leg or hip room per se but it is more easily accessed given height and shape of door opening.

I am strongly considering this car (over my 02 WRX) for the more room factor- for getting my kid in and out and for the cargo area. Right now his rear-facing car seat barely squeezes between the driver and passenger seat.

Not to mention that it's a friggin sweet sleeper.

The rear seats have a baby seat embroidered onto it. I never put in a baby seat so I don't know how large baby seats are. The rear seats fold completely down and fits mountain bikes. If you take the headrest off of the passenger seat, it will fold completely back and have room to push in a twin size bed.

grr. i call it lol. i want to buy it. my wife will be getting a raise here shortly,(early to mid january) and depending on the size of it we will be buying. of course she has the final say, as shes the wife.

Thanks guys! I'm not sure when I'll pick it up. I should know more tomorrow as the lady at my bank was on vacation today. Hopefully before the end of the year. Rest assured that the car will be in good hands.:biggrin:
