mc, is 700 fair for the tranny? It was purchased from a Subaru dealership in Dallas and has approximately 30k per the dealership. I never used it as I never needed it so it has just been sitting in the garage. It was taken off of a 99RS. Yia, let me know if you're still interested in those parts and we can figure something out. The headers are less than a year old and are in great shape and have the coating, the exhaust is in great shape - the tips are still nice and shiny when clean, the intake has a brand new filter in it - had a defect earlier this year and Cobb had to send me a new one.
Fuji - is your sis still interested in the car. I may be doing something very shortly. If she wants it without parts still let me know and we can hammer out a price. Wrxchick - is your bf interested in any of the parts(he mentioned exhaust)? You shoulda been able to hear what it sounded like on the freeway as we were heading out of Firestone
yeah i heard it! it sounds great! the only problem i have is that the cops out here are "picky" about noise. that's why i was looking for an N1 so i can use i silencer too. but give me a price and i might just deal with it. and any other pieces you might want to part out
I've never been pulled over for the exhaust before. It's loud but I've driven a couple miles directly in front of a cop and have never been harrassed even laying on it. Once I talk to my mortgage company and see what the loan amount is they can give me I'll get you a price.

Lilred, I think everything would work on your 98 except for the CAI. If you want to hear the car on the dyno check out the link under events for 6/26 Dyno Day. With the mods the car pulled 129hp and 139ftlb of torque at the wheels. Ma, Anything new on your end?? There is a separate thread going for the tranny and if anyone would possibly want the CAI let me know.
Any word, Ma? Being I'm stripping the parts the price would be flexible at 6k provided I can find buyers for all 4 pieces coming off. I'll work with you on it as I need to get rid of this ASAP. My parents finally took care of the bank crap on their end so I should have the loan amount in a day or two. If the amount is enough for the new ride I'll be looking to sell this within the next couple days. are your headers dual port or single? is the car still for sale i know there was talk of a conversion to someting forcecibly induced. my dad is showing interest in the car. how much would you sell the car for w/ headers on it (so the last part doesnt have to sell, and the car sounds awsome)
Dynapar - I'm not going forced with the car because I would have to wait til December to do it. I did say earlier in the thread the buyer has dibs on ALL the parts. But I'm guessing people will be pi$$ed if I negate those deals at this point(Yia - cai/Paul - catback). Choung sent me a pm on the headers and quite honestly I don't know if he sent that first or you did your post first so I'm going to leave it at the car purchaser for right now if you get in touch with me very soon. My loan closes next week so I'm going to have to sell this thing ASAP. Choung - if the car doesn't sell to dynapar the headers are yours. Matt - They are blue and lightweight, not underdriven. This is a full set of 3 made by N1(purchased from imprezars.com). How does 150 sound? If someone wants a deal on an RS make me an offer - I have like a week and a half to get this all done. Anyone on the list for parts...is anyone going to install day? I think that could work awesome to do the parts swaps especially if we can get everyone there at one time and have access to a lift. Not to mention I have no clue how to switch some of the parts.

Impreziv...I got yur pm, are you going to install day? I have no clue how to take them off. They are still on the car speaking of which, didn't know if you knew that. Yia- if you can't make install day, I think you and I can do this swap in the driveway for the CAI. Let me know what you think. I can get the cai off for you no problem and back on in your car, but getting the stock rig back together might be a b*tch considering we have to get that pedestal re-mounted for the airbox. That may be a lift project getting that back on, I'm not sure. Lilred - if we have lift access on install day we can get this done in 20 minutes I would imagine provided we have all the gaskets and everything ahead of time.

The only requirement is that u pay up sucka...lol Its all good man, I'll bring the cai with me to firestone. My stock airbox is in and the cai is all out. For no additional charge I'll give you my handy sliced hose which will prevent the end of the intake from getting pummeled by misc sharp metal pieces.
