Up for sale is a set of four (4) 17x8 gold Rota Torque wheels (5x114.3, ET48 offset) w/ Dunlop Winter Sport M3 performance winter tires (225/45R-17). Purchased new in the Fall 2004 for my 2005 STi (which I sold back in 2013). I ran them for approximately 9 seasons, but the tires still have a season or two left in them. While the date code on the tires is 2004, and honestly probably should just be replaced at this point, they have been stored in my insulated (but not heated) garage and show no signs of dry-rot or cracking. I did not measure the tread depth of the tires as I don't have a gauge, but could snap some pics of the tread if desired.

The wheels are in excellent condition, with no curb rash or bends. They present as-new (or very close to it) and were cleaned and waxed each Spring after being removed from the car for storage.

Includes a set of 20 chrome spline drive lugs (12 x 1.25) with key. These are in decent shape, but do have some minor corrosion on the finish. Four plastic hubcentric rings are also included.

    $300 takes the set.

Local pickup in Brooklyn Park / Champlin area. Prefer cash or PayPal (G&S).

I gotta know how the OP gets the inside of the barrels so clean? I routinely get the little rocks from seal coating and such that have glued themselves to the finish. Regular wheel cleaner does nothing to loosen them. Do you just spray the wheel with tar remover and let it soak? I have resorted to bumping them loose with a wooden paint stir stick (so I don't scratch the wheel finish) and then clean off the offending tarry residue with naphtha and a rag. Please reveal your secret.

Ohhh...and how is there no corrosion around the crimp-on wheel weights on wheels used in the winter?

Yes, bug & tar remover (Stoner Tarminator) has been my go-to for cleaning off the tar bits on the inside of the barrels. But during the winter months I usually just cleaned the wheels with soap & water. I do have a nice collection of wheel brushes, including wheel woolies and other assorted brushes that are helpful on keeping the wheels looking good.

As far as the wheel weight corrosion (or lack of), I guess I just got lucky, I'm not sure. These wheels did spend their first four years in the Philly suburbs area prior to me moving out to MN, so they haven't seen as harsh of a climate for those years.
