The square cushion used to seal Subaru style top feed injectors are junk, these require downward pressure and do not work well or at all if the injector floats. ID has introduced an adapter that now comes with new injector purchases (resellers) but these adapters will not work with older style ID injectors because it causes the injector seating length to increase (the new style injector bodies compensate to get back to OEM length).

So i thought why not make an adapter that will work with these older style injector bodies that came with square cushions :)

They seal into two places, one o-ring is used on the injector to seal the inside of the adapter and the second seals around the outside of the adapter when pressed (has to be a tight fit) into the tumbler/TGV injector port. The adapters work with or without downward pressure and can float a small amount (1/32" or so).

These adapters will be machined from billet 6061 aluminum, anodized and be supplied with Viton o-rings.

If the adapters need to be removed it can be very difficult, so i have added some relief pockets at the end of the adapters so a dental pick can be used for removal.

Some injectors came with one cushion and some came with two cushions, i have designed two styles to accommodate more injectors. These have not been tested with injectors that came with anything other than square cushions, so i can't confirm fitment.

These are not branded or affiliated with Injector Dynamics and any questions, concerns, comments or anything related to these products must come through Aluminati.

I can't wait to use these. The old ones always leaked at high boost.

    Where is the removal feature?

Its at the bottom, its a pocket turned into the adapter to get a pick on it :) (the long version has a deeper pocket since the adapter had to be longer)

Made 4 short adapters for final testing and everything works great! As you can see there is a inner o-ring and outer o-ring for sealing.

I was thinking more of the advertising aspect, so people that see photos of them posted online etc at least know who to get in touch with to buy them! :)

He could put an Aluminati watermark on them some place.

    When will these be available?
