Well, I pulled the o2 sensor. It looks pretty caked with crap. Probably lead. So, I'm gonna' go log some more and see what happens. :-/
well. Took the car for a drive. The number initially seemed good while cruising. Then I pulled into an SA parking lot and sat idling. The numbers in the first bank value crept from 1.70 to 14.99 while sitting there. It has to be a frigging vacuum leak...but where?!?! Damnit.
Yeah, dude. Its a leak somewhere. maybe your BOV is leaking. Like you said the inlet is a bit too far out, try getting it on better. Check the uppipe the best way to see if it is leaking is in the morning when it is cold start the car up and get underneath and see if there is any white smoke coming out of there.
What about my shot valve cover gaskets...I have seeping. Could this be the cause as well? I'm so annoyed at this point. Grrr...
still battling with this. I read somewhere that because my values are not all the same polarity, that it's definitely a leak, post turbo. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Okee dokee...So, I took the damn thing apart last night. I cleaned the air filter, MAF, took out the inlet pipe, took off the intercooler, cleaned the IACV, replaced a hose that was petrified and snapped while removing other parts, cleaned the hoses (as there was oil in some of them), replaced gaskets on intercooler, examined all the friggin hoses I could find, got the turbo inlet on there nice and flush....and.... Nothing. I can't find a damn thing that could be wrong with it!!! I can drive around and the learning view tool numbers seem ok except for "A." At idle it'll just sit there and climb to 14.99. While driving, it usually stays put. The only CEL I have at this point is 447. I think I'm just gonna' bring the damn thing in. I can't think about it anymore, it's driving me nutz!!! Unless, someone really wants to help me figure out what the hell is wrong with the damn thing of course. I'm totally out of ideas at this point. F!
Fixed. I can only assume that it was a leaky gasket in the manifold/crosspipe area, or that damn turbo inlet that kept "walking out." I replaced those gaskets, and used some hair spray and a t-bolt clamp on the inlet. That friggin' thing ain't movin' anywhere!!! The numbers aren't perfect, but to me they are good to go. I reflashed my base map last night with an updated map that got rid of my 420 CEL. It's nice to have a properly functioning car once again, with no CELs Until the next one...
