Well, for the gal who said something earlier about a racist cop....in light of the circumstances it doesn't sound like this is at all relevant. What do you really expect law enforcement to do when someone is trying to get away, just give them a free pass? From what I'm hearing there is at best a 0.000000001% chance of race having anything to do with this.

I spoke with a co-worker of mine who has been pulled over several times before (he's black, but that's not the issue here). After I told him of the situation, he asked if they gave Fuji the "2-piece." I said, "what's the 2-piece?" and he said that's when you run from the cops and when they catch you, they give you two punches in the guts after they pin you down or they slam your face hard on your car. It's not just Fuji that they did that to, there're others that have been treated like that before. The cops either get mad and do that for having to run after your a** or they do that to stun you so you won't retaliate. :???:

Sad story... He was my idol... Time to go RS again:I

I hope Fuji didnt recieved the "two-piece"...I mean... he looks like Jackie Chan and all... just a bit shorter...Maybe the cops were scared of some "jackie moves"

DAO (WagonL) ----> Get a NEW CAR!;)...I think Fuji fled because he had a twin like you:eek:

So... did Fuji beat the Integra...and by how many car lengths?:p

Drifting!!! WHOA HOA! Through stp streets....."shakes head"

Isn't this how LEGENDS are made though? This is just the beginning........... right bikerboy?)

Hello everyone. I am out from that white little cell with that dim light that shines from above. What more could it look like? The first one had a fogged window, the second one didn't have a window at all. Bummer.....this isnt' how I want to live my life...

But anyway, there was this Integra, right....and yes we raced. There's also a cop that I wasn't aware of sitting behind the pack of cars. But what gives, I didn't get a good launch, more so like...3k rpms, felt more like a bog. But he edged the nose on me, then I missed 3rd, then he's 1 car ahead when I'm in 3rd, then we shut down.

Well what gives, we all have our stories.... we have some contests every once in a while, but we arn't lucky at times.

The thing that would have made the big difference was if I had stopped to receive a "speeding ticket" or whatever the cop would have gave me. Something just came across my mind thinking "run?"

So I gave it my all and of course he fall behind some. I give up as I knew this wasn't right so I signal right and pull over. Later I find out that the cop went too fast into the turn and hit the center median. Talk about trying to go in with the speeds that I was carrying. He got a flat front tire and was towed. bah...

But I'll tell you guys this, I've heard it from MANY MANY others to keep racing at the tracks, now we learn (I learn). It isn't worth running from the cops. If I knew that it was a felon, I would have NEVER ran. But what can you say, it happened. I was stupid.

I don't want to talk any more about this because it already hurts my head from many tears that had rolled down from my eyes. I hope that my mistake will make us MNSubaru guys/gals more mature about street racing and keeping it at the track where we can have all the freedom and fun that we all want.

Wish me luck on my court date! You all are still family :)

much love brother... i', glad i never got to race you around corners... Yosmiley tells me you'd waste me, which means you'd make minced meat outta him too! hhaahah

anyways, i pray for the best and hope that everything goes well... just minor fault, minimal damage. as for the police force? maybe they need to send their officers to offensive and defensive driving courses!

ps... FUJI... good luck man.. glad to see you learned your lesson.. could have been worse...

remember the news a mth back with the Tahoe that fled and ended up killing 3 guys in another car.. that's why cops hate when drivers flee.. cause its other people that end up dying... the family coming home from dinner the father coming home from work to see his kids... etc etc...

Go hard man but keep it to a legal track...

Glad to hear you are ok...

Prayers go out to you man

let me say something comming from a fellow Hmong guy. cops may and may not be racist. but i am sorry to say that you will lose in court. dont matter what your reason is because the main point is when they tried to pull you over you ran. back in the day when me, herc and vu was security gaurds at sunray shopping center. when we get a shoplifter that would run when we ask then nicely to stop. we throw out some cheap body shots when we catch them for making us chase them. not cool for running. since we are minority, we always think racist when something happens. even i did when i got pulled over. but in your situation. they probably just saved some lives from stupid racers on the street crashing to other civilians. i think, no i believe you deserve what ever they give you. street racing is a no no.
even if your **** good at driving, the other person might not be.

let me clarify one thing...

i never threw cheap shots... all the shots i threw were both well placed and both deserved! the only time i'd strike someone is if they wanted to throw down, or they resisted. if i had them cuffed, then it was already over... however, if they tried to fight while they were cuffed, i'd serve them a heaping dish of sidewalk or tabletop counter.

man, you bring back great memories that i wish i could re-live. working here sucks; i can't be a super cop, AKA flashlight cop, AKA robocop, AKA rent-a-cop anymore. here, i watch people go crazy, and can't really do much to them.

oh well, to get back on the subject, i wish things aren't too bad, but as kong stated, everything is well deserving. running from cops is a major crime, and i've never seen anyone get off easily on that account. here's hoping they atleast lube that broom well before asking you to bend over.

A true racer wouldn't stop of anything, even tho you have been caught by cops by fleeing, so yeah you pay the price , but remember this WE BE ALWAYS BE A RACER (in the smart way you know). I got pulled over cusing reving so loud to blow their the ear off, they mention me never return back here. So freakin what, I'm still here ya, and I don't stop. All I can tell you be smart don't be a retard, peace bro wish ya luck on the court.

I remember that me and jer were doing secruity and beat the hell of those GANGS at my former work.
