Fusion Coatings Introduction

These are Powders not Liquid so the heat ratings aren't as high as ceramic paint. I have looked into ceramic coating but there is a lot of hoops to jump through with EPA and local regulations etc due to the "hazardous" material paint is generally considered as well as the fire hazard of it.

 

Custom bike shop in the area dropped off their customers Harley Frame to get blasted and coated in a Gloss Black

 

Local Forester owner wanted to add some accent pieces. He found a powder that came close to matching the Sierra Gold paint Subaru has and we started off with coating the center caps on his aftermarket wheels. When time permits there will be other pieces coated to tie things together.

 

Need a bicycle fork painted, was wondering if I need the clear on top. Thanks!

 

Clear is not necessary unless its a high wear part or you want to really make a underlying effect (multi color/metallic flecks) pop.

 

Clear Coat, weather on paint or with powder in general has 2 main purposes. 1 being protection, weather uv or physical protection, and the other being looks. I'm sure paint is similiar to powder, but certain powders Require clear for one or both reasons mentioned preiviously. If the paint you are using doesn't require clear for protection it will benefit from it as well as give it more of a gloss/wet look.

 

Still got this on my calender, but not 100% I will be able to make it. If I do, the Subaru Yukon will have some pieces for display.

 

May want IC piping powder coated in wrinkle red. How fast is your turn around time?

Any estimate on pricing as well....

 

Old co worker of mine picked up a set of 2 piece OZ wheels for one of his cars. The barrels are polished and in good shape but he wanted to switch up the look on the faces. He shipped these up last week and I they just got done with blasting. Initially these were silver but later this week we will be laying down a Pearl White and Clear to really make these stand out.

 

STI 5x100 BBS wheels done in Gold and Gloss Clear.

Been busy around the house and shop and haven't been able to post lately. Here are a few projects that were completed a while back.

OZ wheel Faces in Pearl White and Gloss Clear Top coat

 

Honda Prelude parts. H22 Valve cover, Aem Intake and a Strut Bar (in the back ground). The Second picture is with a Flash to show the color range of this powder. Unfortunately I never was able to get a picture out in natural light to show what this color really looks like.

 

Coated this old 40's or 50's era Lunch box In Charcoal Metallic and Wrinkle Black. Also did an OLD Marine EGA hood ornament in Black Chrome, this was originally a bronze color but after well over a million miles sitting on the hood of a semi, it needed an update. Both were for a Retired Marine Vet that we were extremely happy to help out!

 

Customer Dropped off a couple antique wagon wheels that they had out in their garden for decoration. They wanted to change up the look some so they opted for a Penny Vein to give it that new look yet keep the old antique feel.

 

Local business here in southern Minnesota builds snowmobile tunnel stiffeners/bumpers. They started having us coat their products recently. Did a few sets so far. Couple in Wrinkle Black and a few in Can Am's Manta Green. If you need a set or have any other needs get a hold of them on!
