FYI, Nokian Hakkapeliita R2s are being discontinued

I'd recommend finding your nearest Nokian dealer. I just bought a set of them for almost $20ea less than I paid for the exact same tires about a year and a half ago.


WRG3s as well, but I bet there aren't too many people on here looking for those.

 

Just those two lines I'm assuming, or the entire Nokian Hakkapeliita line?

 

Any idea why? That's the exact model I was hoping to get for new snows.

 

As far as I've seen, yes, just the R2s and WRG3s are being replaced (FYI, the WRGs are not a Hakka, they're an all-weather tire).

They're in the process of rolling out the Hakka R3 and WRG4. There will still be a fantastic (better?) Hakka available in the future, but the R2s are on closeout from most suppliers. Sorry, should have mentioned that.

I saw them for sale on Newegg actually and these guys were the reseller and the price was amazing, I noticed they were local so called them and gave me the price direct and had them in two days, brand new of course.
