E85's cheap compared to the rest of it!
35-37 mpg. on 87. 2008 scion xD half and half of city and highway.
12 MPG from wilmar to alexandria.- 02 hybrid 35r on e85. Possibly the reason was that one side of one of my exhaust valves was missing.
I've been averaging 26mpg lately on my 2002 Outback Limited 5MT.... mostly highway.
05 sti drove 118 miles got 24 mpg
Fuel economy depends on a lot of factors including when you last maintained your vehicle. I average 21 mpg doing 75% city and light foot driving. Probably around 25 if all highway.
Stock FXT w/ 130K miles
225 60 16 all season tires @ 35 psi
air filter partly dirty
BP 93 gas
seafoamed 2 months ago
I get around 25mpg, mostly highway. Stock '04 WRX, 92k miles.
stg1 flash with 27mpg
30.3 mpg. take that. from an automatic.
its a lot of highway miles. 60k miles almost from a 2009 car
ahaha try cities
new record for me yesterday. 35.4 mpg driving from woodbury to minnetonka
Are you guys basing off the mileage computer? If so, it's total hokum, at least it was on my Outback. It stops calculating when the car is stopped (i.e. when you're getting 0 mpg) so it's very optimistic. The Outback (05 XT 5MT Stage 1) would consistently show 21.5 - 23 mpg average. But actual mileage (miles / gallons consumed) was more like 16 - 18. If you were doing straight highway it was much closer to reality, but still higher than actual.
My 06 Impreza 2.5i 5MT gets 24 - 5 city/hwy mixed. Straight hwy it gets 27 - 28ish.
Hypermiling is for people with FWD.
automatic or 5/6 speed, it doesn't matter. it is all in how you drive. I was routinely getting 30+ out of my 02 bugeye with a high stall converter and a 18g. Once the converter locks up, it is direct drive, just like the manual.
got a retuned and finally got into the mid-ranges of 35mpg
27-28 mpg highway with Nuke S2 tune.
shhh...you weren't even suppose to know about that
ahaha it was good! now i dont worry much about my gas.
I've been averaging 24 mpg burning 93 and 19 mpg burning e85.
30.0 mpg from Eau Claire to Madison in my 2011 WRX (stock minus catback). 93 octane.
Stock tune, driven very conservatively at about 68-69 mph.
...Very nice, plans for a tune? I'd be interested to see what you could get with a good tune at the same level
Eventually I'll look into getting one. For now, I'd like to retain the warranty in full. Whenever that's up, I'll look into getting a tune or doing Stage 2 or something along those lines.
Strict highway from Hibbing to the cities my 02 wrx pulls just under 28 mpg. That's with the cruise set at 70 from Hibbing to cloquet, and at 80 the rest of the way. Not bad for a 180,000 mile car. I'm really impressed with my 2001 mustang gt though, that gets 24 mpg at the same speeds and it has 4.10 gears in it.
About 19mpg average on a tank with city driving and highway. 23-24mpg highway only around 80mph
stop driving like a grandma. ahah
oh yeah try 23.4mpg in city. beat that!
Just last week, I drove 200 mi (w/my 2002 WRX) to Wilmer, MN and back to New Hope, MN. I averaged about 26.8, which was a mix of 30mph to 75mph (with a Bullwinkle tune, at 20 psi) although city, I average about 21 to 23mpg?
Haha I was coasting for about 2 miles downhill
Where do you find a 2 mile long hill in MN? im getting 27-30.5 stage2 90% hwy.
It was in Wisconsin between Arcadia and La Crosse.
38-42 in the summer and mid 30's in the winter.
EJ18 with some Extra lean burning mods.
Driving spirited will get low 30's. I just gotta watch my EGT like a hawk.
Drove from Madison to EC tonight. Couldn't get above 21mpg highway tonight with the wind and my roof rack on. Ended up taking it off half way and got about 26mpg.
18.6 -LGT Average
19.2 on 93 with invidia full tbe
17-18 on my 05 sti with 135k all stock
How many gallons in a tank? I'm getting maybe 10-15 MPG on E85.... seems because of all the intown type stuff though
16-17 e85 but that's on tuning and playing. On this tank I'm going for best mpg
In the forester I average around 20 in town in the summer, 17-19 in the winter. On the highway in the summer I'm usually around 23 with the highest being 26 one trip to the parents.
o9 Forester XT on road trip to SLC -
18.7 mpg heading southwest (Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah)
24.3 mpg heading northeast (Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota)
21.5 mpg in city
