Mine: Remove UTEC Re-install AP Stuff Check FMIC piping and clamps Give exhaust system a quarter turn buy/install Matt's Uber Injectors I am sure there is more that I want to get done, but those are the big ones.
Must install EVERYTHING ( thanks Matt) Just waiting on my bumper to get painted and that should be tomorrow. w00t, im so excited

BTW: We had one person drop out tonight so there is one free open spot. Im going to email the 2 back-up's and see if we have any luck.
Erik (Dream) will be on the rollers at 8am. Then it is 2 hour time slots. So, 10am Matt (bikerboy) is on, then me at 12 - 2pm. Discopope picks up at 2pm - 4pm, and there is an open slot from 4pm - 6pm.
OK, we're winding down to the stretch here folks. Things to keep in mind. A: make sure you're using the latest firmware on your UTEC's. B: make sure all basic maintenance is done C: if you want it tuned for the car, make sure it's installed on the car. D: Accessport people. Make sure you bring EVERYTHING.. E: if you haven't gotten with Eric with a mod break down of your car DO SO. I'd like a few days to go over the information and formulate a tuning strategy for your car. F: if anyone has any questions, POST THEM, call Eric, or email me directly ([email protected]). Having covered this, all should go well
4 to 6 Thats my spot isnt it??
quote:
Originally posted by readymix_wrx Erik (Dream) will be on the rollers at 8am. Just installed the turbo and fuel pump,,now the car wont idle and barely runs, anyone got any ideas, I checked everything, cant figure it out, help!!!
after I pulled half my hair out I put the air filter back to stock, and it runs great now. I guess you cant run the perrin short y intake without some doin some other stuff to it.anyways car runs, hopefully it will make it. The tec turbo sounds great
My injectors are in, the UTEC is gone, the AP is married to my ECU (followed by a beautiful reception :I) Jorge's "Limp my shiz to Burnsville" map is loaded up...and the survey says: DING DING DING! It started. And idled. And the idle smoothed out nicely. Erik, you had better call my azz up before you go, bish. I wont wake up otherwise. In fact, any of you shmucks get this message, call my home phone over and over till I answer (651) 340-1353. I hear you all are getting pancakes in the AM. I am cordially inviting myself along. Erik is my date. Wear a nice spring dress, mr. prissy pants...I don't want to be disappointed. Oh, and a word of caution. I think I lost a 10mm 3/8" socket in my engine bay. I looked high and low for that thing and I can't find it anywhere. So don't stand near my open hood during the dyno runs...I don't want anyone to catch it in their skulls. Just kidding...I bet it is in the garage somewhere. 4 hours till the first one hits the skids...w00t w00t!
I just wanted to say that it was an absolute pleasure to come up and work with you guys. Was also very cool and memorable to hang out with you guys and share in the laughs and stories! I'm glad (in light of a rather rocky start) that every person left with an ear to ear grin. Scan and post up some dyno plots! Especially the 20G guys!!! Thanks again everyone! Just remember... I am the boost master. (insert maniacal laugh here) But seriously.. I enjoyed figuring out the boost control issues. I like working under pressure (read as racing type situations).
I will agree with the stand up guy statement and then some. It was a pleasure to meet you and have a few laughs. Hope we get a chance to meet again on the dyno someday.
