So I just got a quote for $300 for a custom mid and y pipe install for my 2005 legacy gt. Gonna be stage 2 hopefully next week .So should I go ahead and get the custom mid and y or just keep the stock mid and y? This will be with the 2 oem mufflers on still.

Your stock turbo is your restriction at this point. I've seen 380 tq flow through the stock dp back.

I am running a 09 fxt and put down 320ish ftlbs on Ronnie's dyno, and that is with the stock td04 and just a downpipe and tune. I still have the stock catback. You power will be gained by removing the cats, and the catback is more of a sound thing.

^^ they are right... First thing to do... Pull the banjo bolts from your turbo... otherwise... turbo failure... Second thing is replace both up and down pipes... this is do to the cats in both... HP gains come from removing the restriction of the DP and the up pipe is more of a precaution... I have heard that the cat can brake apart and ruin the turbo... Third thing to do is a Nuke tune... All this could be done for around $600 with the correct used parts.
