This would have been so nice before I tore it all off my wagon. I literally got pulled over leaving the DMV parking lot after transferring my title.

Yes, but I don't actually care who it is, I am curious as to what ICD-9 he uses (368.13?) though. Any glare testing done to show how he reached your "required" tint needs? I hope so; otherwise he'll get ripped a new a**hole in court if anyone with the extra tint pulls out in front of anyone and is dumb enough to say "they didn't have their lights on so I couldn't see them through my darkly tinted window."

Or maybe he just has a unique patient population (otherwise healthy twenty something males with visually significant cataracts)

I'm am not sure that the provider would approve of us refering their services to another provider. I'll be in to see them for my eyes that water excessively when the glare from the snow reflects into them. I will ask them how they coded my Dx and let you know what type of assessments they used to come to this Dx. If you would like I'll ask them if I can give their info to you.... SORRY I hope/think you'll understand. It might be easier for me if I knew you or had at least meet you once or twice.

FYI, you DO NOT need a prescription with specific percentages on it. All you need is a Doctors "note" with proper letterhead showing, or at least looking like it came from an M.D. It DOES need to be renewed every two years however.

This was surprisingly really easy to get. I called the optometrist right after getting my car tinted he had an opening and I was in and out with a prescription within 30 minutes of getting it tinted. Definately worth the 50 dollars!

I've been pulled over twice with my "prescription" and have been excused for my tint...the cops don't know the specifics of the statute. I wouldn't worry about it. Hell, most cops don't even know that you can have aftermarket mufflers on your car here in MN.:)

Some not knowing about it doesn't mean it's not required. After they read the statute they could simply deny you if you don't have your name, expiration date and max percentage of light loss. On top of that, most all tint shops know this now as well and won't tint you darker then the prescription says. It's their ass now as well.

There's plenty of noise related statutes that make a lot of aftermarket mufflers illegal in MN. There's also cities that are more strict then the state, Stillwater comes to mind. You are just full of misinformation.

I plan on tinting my windshield the first of next month. Winter is the worst for me when there is actually snow on the ground(so i've been alright so far:(Can haz snowz plz). I'm sick of getting headaches and can't stand wearing sunglasses...50% 0n the winshield should be about perfect for this guy!

*I actually suffer from light sensitivity tho, don't care about how "cool" it makes my car look.*lol
