So I purchased my 2013 WRX STI last year from Morries in Brooklyn Park. I live all the way in Oakdale, is it possible to get my next service (Recall service & oil change) done at another Subaru dealer instead of the far trip? (Such as the dealership on Hwy 61)
As far as I know, a dealership is a dealership. Some may not perform your recall work but other than that, you should be just fine. Just to make sure, give them a call.
I go to WBL subaru. No issues there. As far as the recall you probably are safe being a '13 my '09 had no issues with the corrosion brake line recall. I bring my own oil & filter there and the charge my like 14 bucks to do the work.
You can take it to any dealer, I just had mine done this morning at Burnsville Subaru since it was closest to RS motors. The service Manager stated that there hasn't been any cases where they had to change out the brake lines for 08+ stis so you will be fine. It should just be a 30minute job for them to inspect and spray down with anti rust.
"Free" oil changes associated with your vehicle purchase will most likely not apply at other dealerships though. At least outside of the Morries family of dealerships.
