I love this car but my family is growing and I need something that has room for more car seats.

I am just gauging interest right now and am not in a rush to sell. I will consider trades for a 09+ Forester XT.

    '07 WRX Limited Wagon

    current asking price: $10,000
mileage: 127k (car is daily driven so mileage will go up)
    transmission: Manual 5 spd
    color: UGM- Urban Gray Metallic
Interior: Black leather, heated seats, sunroof, compass/auto dim rear view, WeatherTech front floor trays and front and rear oem mats, oem cd changer and aux input, the seam in the driver seat has a tear (stitching came out)
Exterior: usual wear and tear on front, couple door dings, and scuff on front passenger bumper, few scratches on the driver side passenger door, oem mud guards
    Non smoking car

Mod List (most mods were installed as of 40k miles, give or take):

    -VF39 turbo
    -Sti Intercooler
-Maddad 3" EWG downpipe to Maddad 3" midpipe to oem wrx axle back
    -GMBCS
    -Bullwinkle 91 octane tune (285hp/320tq)
    -DDM slim 35w 5000k HID(installed at 45k), Yeller fogs w/fog switch mod
    -Kartboy endlinks
-ProSport Boost gauge in dash pod
    -WRX sedan rear sway
    -TIC fender braces
    -OEM short shifter
    -Whiteline antilift kit
-Two layers of sound deadening material in cargo area
-Window tint- 50% front doors, 35% rear doors and hatch, %35 sunroof and front window brow
    -Debadged hatch
    - PIAA Sport Horns behind front grill
    - Stainless brake lines F/R
    -Stoptech slotted rotors and pads

    Included with the car:
    -Tein H-Tech springs
    -oem brake lines
    -heat shields
    -oem bulbs
    -oem front floor mats
    -oem resonator exhaust pipe
    -rear middle seat head rest
    -Kartboy shifter bushings
    -oem anti-lift bits
    -oem front end links
    -oem front brake pads
and a few random hoses, boxes, and bolts

    Wheels/Tires:
5x100 STI BBS WHEELS w/New CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DW tires.
(I have Snow tires and steel wheels as well if interested but tires should be replaced after this winter)

    Recent Maintenance:
-New Clutch and fork (the clutch fork failed and destroyed the old clutch)
    -New Steering Pump
    -New Ball joints

I bought the car in 2012 from PaulasaurusREX. It has 127k (+change) miles on it and as such has some normal wear and tear.

These are old pictures (from Paul) but the car still looks the same other than the ride height since the stock springs are back in the car (I will get updated pics and post them later).

I'd be interested to see pics of the damaged areas or any rust/corrosion that has started

I'll get some pics this weekend after a carwash. No rust or corrosion that I have noticed.

Timing belt and water pump were replaced by NF at 105k along with the spark plugs. Haven't had a compression/leakdown test done but haven't had any issues. I'm open to a PPI if you want.

The Outbacks and Legacys have about the same room in the back seats as my wagon which is why I'm looking for a Forester. I'd much rather have a wagon than an SUV but the car seats won't fit (rear facing anyways).

I love this car and will be extremely sad to see it go. I tried to convince the wife to let me keep it but we don't have the space/time/money for it right now. My plan is to get a hold of a SH Forester XT and try to get it to the same/similar power numbers so at least I'm not loosing all of the fun.

Wow, wish I was in the position to buy this back. By far my favorite of all the Subaru's I've owned.

Good luck with the sale, hope she goes to yet another good home.

I need to find a good Forester XT first. It's proving tough to find a good, low mileage SH Forester XT the Midwest for a decent price.

I have but I'll have a hard time convincing my pregnant wife to let me take road trip half way across the country to pick up a car I've never seen before :p. I've been searching a 500 mile radius and I've not found anything yet that I really like.

Most end up doing what you're doing for awhile. Then they realize that they aren't going to find one and end up flying to east/west coast and buying one. ;)

    Good luck!

I'm not in a rush but I have been keeping an eye out across the country and on various other Subaru forums, but yeah I may end up doing that eventually anyways.

I'm not in a position where I can be without a car for a while so I need to find a new car first, sorry. I'd much rather have three cars and have to sell one, than have one car and have to buy one.

I did test drive a 2014 XT this weekend and will be expanding my search and upping my budget (yay tax refund!)

SH FXT's are few here, I had to go to the east coast to get mine (just crossed 70k). Hope you find what you like! Rick (@silver03) was surprised that mine had the ancient 4EAT in it. Good luck!!!

Update: I am watching a Forester waiting to see if the price will drop so the wagon may or may not be on sale here soon.

Full Disclosure: It currently has a check engine light (error code P0171) that came on a few days after the new alternator was installed. I've checked to make sure the airbox is fully seated and cleaned the MAF sensor but haven't had much time to troubleshoot much else yet. I will work on it some more this weekend, anyone here have any suggestions?

original front O2 sensor? boost leak test (could be a leak at the inlet/turbo)? If both of those are good, check vacuum lines and fuel system.

I loved the look of it lowered but I encounter to many bumps and railroad tracks in my daily driving so I have the stock springs back on. The lowering springs will be included with the car though ;).

OK so here is the deal. I'm ready to sell but the car still has the check engine light (I don't have a socket that can get the o2 sensor off). The forester that I'm getting is a little more expensive than I planned so I was going to raise the price to $11k but with the check engine light $10k.

Give me a call if you ate interested.

I need to clean up/out the car but I will get pics up this weekend.
