GI : Local Hockey Games

Woodbury has a few flooded but the warming houses are closed for another week or so. Meaning no lights after dark

 

@Sjogun - Did you say we could maybe get some ice time at an indoor rink per say if we get enough people?

 

Yeah, it would have to be late in the evening in E.P. I'll get more details.

 

I'm interested. Not the best skater/hockey player but I can handle my own fairly well.

 

About any Friday night at 10pm 125$ cash, we can skate for an hour and a half or so.

Velocity hockey center, Eden Prairie.

 

Bump for the polar blast and finally the rinks might now be getting flooded after the warm influx of weather we had in december. I did get a new hockey stick for xmas, skates are ready now I just need to go find some ice or ice time depending on the rates.

 

Went to a couple park rinks this weekend ice was still pretty crappy... hopefully they get a few more inches on them soon

 

Just drive by the rinks in my neighborhood crystal and golden valley have goals up anyone interest in pick up games in the area?

 

I would , but GV is too far for that.

 

going to check out some rinks today in the NE suburbs. see if the rinks are good. otherwise ill probably go see if any are available in robbinsdale /gv

 

I have some buddies who are playing today at bohanon park in Minneapolis off 49th. 5:30 i think, if anyone is interested. Not sure how many we have yet.

I think so. Still not sure how many we will have. Just had a few back out.

 

So I'm planning on hitting up some of the local park rinks tomorrow in golden valley. Any interested in joining? I will probably start at gearty park off regent just south of 36th. Then my move to scheI'd park if it's dead. Pm or reply if your interested

just saw this, I skated for a lil bit but spent most my day watching football maybe next week? we should try to orginize something

 

the lady friend works all weekend so that means I am free for the weekend. lmk if anything is happening. weather permitting i know that its going to be a bit warmer out here and there so we might have ****ty ice.

Ok who is up for a game this Sunday. I'm thinking should be enough notice for people to make plans. I'm thinking maybe around 1 ? I'm over in golden valley so normally skate Scheid Park or Gearty Park but I'm open to hitting up other rinks. Just want to get some games in!

Looks like there is a small chance of some snow tomorrow afternoon but not to bad most of it will come in that night. besides @tehfuzz anyone else in? Last weekend golden valley out door rinks will be open with warming houses ! After president day the swith over to min maintenance and no warming house.

i went up there at about 2 and drove past both rinks
the second one had 3 kids i think there so i went home
