Yeah, I saw those. $50 I can justify, maybe between $50-100. But not $500. Guess I keep looking...

These lugs are all conical seat lugs for stock and 99% of aftermarket wheels. not Shank drive.

This weekend or next methinks. Still need to figure out if I'm gonna prepay all of them (faster) or collect money (and hope there aren't many handraisers:laugh:). What I might do is put a couple boxes of black close ended on my CC. Then special order the other color/style variations and do those pre-pay.

Looks like $28 for black close ended. All other variations will need 4-5 sets sold to get to the $28 mark. Otherwise it's $35ish.

Since there seems to be enough interest, I'll work out the details over the next couple days then post up a FS/GB thread.

In my experience, my black and chrome gorillas have held up just as good as my black mutekis and chrome mcgards. They were all spline drive, so that might have something to do with it since the key contacts the lugs snugly with less chance of nicking any corners.

I haven't had any rusting with any of my spline drive nuts. I haven't owned any red or blue lug nuts, but have seen many of them start to flake off. The only ones I've seen that haven't were summer use only, and put on and off very carefully each time. Actually, I've also seen the higher end red/blue/gold/etc lug nuts hold up to plenty of abuse (changed several times a year and hit with an impact).

Yeah, my red Mutekis flake really bad. They're almost chrome now.

The black and chrome are great products... The red and blue however are not. I dont recomend the gorilla colored (blue or red) because of the flaking issue. They are not painted they are anodized and the finish does not hold up very well.

And Chet, my black closed ends on my car are fine, they have held up since 2007, i run them all year round.
