GI: Who would like to go shooting at Bills/Burnsville Pistol one of these days?

    It is an M14 in a Troy MCS chassis. That is a Trijicon ACOG on top, and a SEI Vortex flash suppressor. There are actually quite a few stocks out there now that correct the main problem of the original M14.

    The Seals may or maynot be using something along the lines of this...

    Changing the stock design so that the stock is even/level with the receiver actually greatly improves how the gun handles. Before when the stock was lower than the receiver, the grip would act as a fulcrum and the force of each shot would be transfered down and back forcing the muzzle up. This new stock design (like the M16) transfers that force straight back and prevents muzzle rise. I do agree that it isnt the prettiest thing out there, but it isnt half bad compared to some of the other fixes.
