May God the Father be with Josh, God the Son protect him, and God the Holy Ghost be by his side. Lord, be his guide and protector on the journey he is about to take. Watch over him. Protect him from accidents and show him favor with weather, road conditions, and other drivers (after all, he will be in Jersey) Keep him free from harm to body, soul and BRZ. Lord, support him with Your grace when he gets tired. Show him safe places to rest and refuel. Help him be patient in any trouble which may come his way. Keep him always mindful of Your presence and love which allowed him to get this very car. Grant Vanessa and the girls complete peace of mind that you have him. Amen. From all of us.
Thank you brother Rick! Definitely a little nervous as i’ve never been to the east coast and in a car i’ve only seen online! At least it has all season tires on it. Lol. The prayers are appreciated!
Having laser eye surgery on Saturday morning. Please stand in agreement with me for a nice, successful, stress free procedure. I made the mistake of watching a LASIK procedure on YouTube, and now I'm a little apprehensive. Thanks guys!
Standing in agreement and Faith for successful and stress free procedure for you brother! God guide the hands of the doctor. Father take the fear and remove it from him so that he can have comfort knowing that You have his back through this. We give You all of the glory and praise in Jesus name!!
If you have hyperopia (farsightedness) don't do it! I have a number of nearsighted friends who have had it done and are glad they did.
I've made the same mistake of watching a Youtube video of the procedure and it pretty much solidified my decision to never have it done.
I'm nearsighted. My vision is 20/400. Without my glasses, I can't see anything that's further than 2' from my face.
Right. My optometrist warned me off about it since I'm farsighted. She said that you'll end up needing it done multiple times. and will need glasses again anyway eventually. My sister, who is also farsighted, had it done and proved that exact scenario out. She'll need glasses again soon. She already had a repeat lasik once or twice, but you can only do it so many times. So her lasik will have ended up only lasting maybe 8 years. But, since you're nearsighted, you'll have much better long term results.
It's often what we see with our natural eyes that frightens us...thank goodness for faith that can penetrate that image and show us God's best on the other side. Let's be in agreement for skillful and godly Wisdom for the medical team and a supernatural recovery. It's yours brother!
This one has been a popular one at my church. Love seeing everyone in the congregation getting animated while worshiping the Lord. I will admit that my arm gets tired playing this one though
If god exists and my cat isn't there when I meet him then he's gonna have hell to pay. **** your plan when it takes my cat from me at nine years old.
our cat died yesterday. fluid around the heart and in the lungs. she suffocated in our arms after an awful day at the vet trying to help her. worst day of my life.
Sorry to hear that, man. Losing a pet is hard. I grew up with lots of cats over the years. My mom has always been a borderline crazy cat lady. (5 at once was the peak, but total more than I can count) I've dealt with losing cats to leukemia, simply running away, nearly going septic from infections from fighting, etc. A couple years ago my own little fuzzball came home with a leg injury that swelled over the weekend to the point he couldn't walk. We decided to have him put down. Partly the injury, partly because he couldn't be trusted around my daughter. He was a little bastard but I loved him anyway. Touching on your post, being angry at God is normal. (I am more often than I like to admit) For now, grieve for your cat. If you want to chat about other things later, LMK. Again, sorry for your cat.
I wish I could find pics/video from several years ago at the in-laws place. Wife's mom was feeding well over 30 at one time... It was insane. Sorry to hear about your cat, @derp . We lost our best cat ever probably about 6 years ago now. She made it to 17 or so, which means I got her when I was approximately 10. That one was pretty brutal. Haven't had a desire for another one since.
The wife did! I was at home with the kids watching the Revival via livestream. I thought about live streaming Pulse, but i’ve invested nearly 177 nights to the Revival already. No sense in stopping now! Did you whack your lady a few times with your free pillow?
Bump because God is good! Awesome night at the revival tonight and i’m getting much better with the camera. Really wish that I could get a few of you down there to check it out! It’s getting surious
Was asked to take a sabbatical from running Junior Youth to avoid burnout.. I started the ministry in our church 4.5yrs ago as my oldest boy need a youth group and it was either that or leave the church to one with a group... started with 4-5 kids... leaving with an average of 35-40 attending... did the first 2.5yrs ALONE... no helpers stepped up... last few years had a mid 50s couple helping out most weeks... it was a joy to be able to graduate my oldest out of Junior Youth on my last night... I still have 2 others in Junior and my youngest is a year out and is bummed cause she had demanded I was the Youth Pastor/Leader when she go there.. well who knows hwat a year off will bring... maybe Ill be back...

Good evening from beautiful Montana! So we made the 18hr(23hrs in our case) drive out to Hungry Horse, Montana to enjoy a week of camp and God with the girls at the “Revival in the Rockies”! We’ve been here since Thursday and have been soaking in the amazing creation all around us!! We drove the minivan...no BRZ sadly. Leaving this coming Thursday for home, prayers welcome for our two day trip back! Pastor Dave from the Josiah Center, where the revival is going on right now in Maplewood, is here with us. Along with a handful of others from MN! Pics!! Flathead Lake(it’s huge)!
Spent another day hiking in Glacier today, check out was this morning at camp. Got a few hours of driving in after the hikes. Back at it tomorrow!!
They are waaaay smaller than my last set, but the BRZ is finally representing!! Now to get the rear window banner made. Still going with old faithful, Matthew 6:33
Father we thank You for great weather today! We thank You for watching over us as we travel to LaCrosse and keeping the cars in one piece, there and back. In fact...i thank You right now for the 10 years that we have had this cruise and in that time we’ve only had two cars break down! That is about 500 cars over that time. Wow! We praise Your name!!! Lord You are good and i thank You for this fellowship that we will have together this weekend. Let it glorify You and be a tool for Your Kingdom, in Jesus name!
