I can't seem to find any write ups via the google on this. Is it as simple as remove old one and attach the two lines and bingo? Should it be mounted in the same spot? I got the version with the 5/16th barbs.

yes it is that simple. i didnt even mount mine as the filter is so light that it is easily supported by the 2 hoses.

Yes! If you don't bleed off pressure, you'll end up like I did with gas spraying at you. I knew there would be some so I just grabbed a rag and slowly pulled off the hose but, there was a bit more pressure built up than I anticipated.

So bleeding pressure is good, recommendation as to how to do that? I prefer to huff my gas as opposed to wearing it.

Opening the cap helps, or just not doing it untill its been sitting for a while.

Or detach the green plug on the right side up in the front passenger footwell and start the car. When it dies, pressure is releived.

Wasn't any at all after the gas cap relief. Not really that much of the gas fumes I love to huff either. Darn ethyl.

i had one on mine running e85 and i picked up a marginal amount of flow over stock filter. biggest benifit is that its all stainless and while it is expensive up front over the long run pays for its self as it dose not need to be replaced the screens just need to be cleaned from my understanding. how ever my car exsperianced some issue with it in cold weather starting situations after i swaped back to stock the issue went away. Not sure what caused it but the member i sold it to put it on his 02 wrx and it worked fine.

Word is the stock filter gets clogged and isn't happy with e85. You should change the filter out anyway after switching because e85 cleans the gas tank out and the gunk ends up in your filter. For sure this flows better.

There is a group buy on Nasioc but it looked dead. I got mine from Jay Racing. I got the barbed one but you can get one with AN fittings if you are going to do fancy fuel rail/systems. You can find AN - barbed adapters so it will work with the stock setup and go AN later.

    Barbed.

I've ran e85 for over a year so what gunk was there is now gone. I got mine as part of that group by then sold it as I never noticed much of a difference.
