Hey guys and gals, Just got back up to school with a new exhaust and a couple other things... Anyways I'm just waiting on my clutch to get here then I'm going to be in the market for two things... Either someone that would be willing to help me with the clutch around here (I would obviously be paying for time). Or if anyone knows of a place up here that will do a good job with a clutch replacement. Two: as the title states, I will need to get a tune soon after the new clutch. If anyone knows of a good tuner up yonder that would be awesome... Otherwise I will wait till I'm back down to the cities and get all that done. I just don't want to wait all that long to get the tune done. Thanks in advance, Dan
have you talked to tint masters? i know they do alot of stuff like that. As far as tuning i know they do some but i think its strictly accessport stuff if i remember right,
Thanks! I went and stopped in the one at Grand Forks, they said the place to go for clutches would be down in Fargo. So I think I might head down there whenever I get the clutch up here. Thanks for letting me know.
ya the guys at tintmaster in fargo are big suby guys. there shop is right on main, west of 29 on the north side of the road, cant miss it. there is always a rx7 and a wrx parked out front.
Get in touch with some of the tuners here. You can probably get a baseline tune via email to hold you over until you can get down here and dial it in.
There are a few guys up there capable of flashing maps. I think a couple works at Subaru. What's your set up that you want to get tuned?
Well I just got a new tanabe exhaust and unknown brand bigger inner cooler. Pretty much stock everything else in an 02 WRX wagon.
Okay, so when I do get my new clutch in and everything would you recommend looking into getting a tune up here or just wait until I'm down in the cities again. I'm a bit new to this whole forced induction stuff so it's all new to me. Thanks for the input.
Just make sure you don't have any leak after installing the aftermarket intercooler. You are fine with the stock tune even with those parts. But you can benefit from a tune.
