If I can get online, I'll send you my matte black veyron or lfa. Just send it back and you should get the chip. My folks don't have the internetz so I'm usb tehtering my phone to a laptop. Hopefully I can connect the ps3 to the laptop since the phone doesn't currently do wireless tethering.
Got the game from my Wife for Christmas, need some seat time now. Playstation network = brocorods. See ya on the track.
I ended up buying the TT-R for the DTM series. Just finished the Ring in 7:08 on an NA tune. I love how the DTM cars handle on the Ring. Can't believe all you get a 2002 Turbo for winning that series.
Does someone have a matte black car they could trade me so I can get the paint chip? I'd like to do my F1 car in matte black.
Will do. Having interwebs trouble right now but should be solved shortly. I really wanted to get the M3 GTR Race Car. Even the street version looks killer.
You get free paint chips for logging in but it's luck of the draw and it's hard to tell which are new. It doesn't notify you like it does museum cards but I have far more paint chips than I have cars and, as you can probably tell from my car count, I don't sell any cars. I'm interested in these chrome paint chips I've heard of. I noticed the LFA and one of the GT-Rs has matte black but those are eventually prize cars. Does that 200k tuner GT-R that comes in matte give you a paint chip?
I now have 3 NASCAR hulks so if someone needs one I'd be willing to trade the unused one for something else. I can provide a list of recommendations if you just want to watch your used car lots. I don't need the full 500k value in trade but I've been looking for some used cars that usually run in the 200-300k range.
Any car your recieve in your inbox gives you a paint chip (that I have noticed anyway). Even after I sent Subytek my Mustang to complete the "Seasonal Event", and when he sent it back, I got another chip from it.
Unfortunately I won't be needing it anymore. I found out you can't paint the F1 cars. Oh well, at least I got a blue one. I am looking for a Subaru Regal Blue Pearl chip now for a different project.
Anyone have a car that can win the historic race car cup in expert, Ive tried to no avail with my countach, my cobra.
I had to borrow idget's wedge (Toyota 7) for those races. Just make sure to adjust the transmission for speed on the oval. I'm going to need to win my own soon because I'm getting close to that race in B-Spec.
Any interest in a matt black Lexus LFA community paint chip car? I'll buy it and we can pass it around regularly for paint chips?
I'd like to try it again. I'm beginning to think that the paint chip is only transferred if it's that car's native color. Might be neat to do my fully-riced Ferrari in matte black.
I have 4 frat brack cars Esprit GT Shelby GT350 Cobra R mustang Lambo whatever veloce' (orange wheels) ftw
Mind trading a few times with me so I can collect the paint chips? I'd like to get my 360 painted in flat black, among other cars.
My PSN is metos12. I'm beginning to believe that paint chips only follow cars if that was the paint it came with originally.
I used the Lexus IS F concept 08, made quick work of the series in both a-spec and b-spec (yes it's Japanese but it's built to the German touring spec so it works)
My B-spec driver could not do Cote d'Azur in the wedge, he kept hitting the armco on the inside of the final corner and completely wiping out. Also the opposing drivers sometimes pile up at the entrance to the chicane and my driver gets caught up in them. Best I've done is 5th place so far, and that's with a level 20 driver. I may wait until I get the GT40 Race Car later and try then. I'd really love to get a Chaparral 2J, I love the engineering genius in that thing and it seems to corner better than any car in the game short of the FGT.
I passed it with the wedge, max downforce... Set gearing to top speed 160ish, pace driver down right before tunnel. Took me 5 or 6 tries but I got it.
had the same issue but i just had to make sure i only paced him up on the straights and let him go in the corners) i just did it with the today
the J2 is for sale in the online dealership now. also 2 german touring cars (wish i would have looked before i bought the ISF)
I passed in in A-spec with my '70 Challenger Race car. I've been able to do decently well in B-spec, just needing to do some tuning.
The Toyota 7 handled the Cote very easily, 9 second lead. I changed the oil and it bumped the power up almost 100 hp.
I should finally be buying the stupid game today or tomorrow, the lack of Mankato plows deterred me from driving to Best Buy tonight.
Eat your heart out, Mr. Block: The Top Gear Test Track by Numbchux, on Flickr Also, yes, you can break the doors off. Even got a trophy for it, yay. The Top Gear Test Track_1 by Numbchux, on Flickr
Bah, I used a Focus rally car to earn that trophy, I didn't want to bang on my Subarus or Mitsus. I think only the Premium cars can bash off parts though.
