So as there has been a sudden boom of people that have joined the forum from up here, a few of us have been talking about getting together and shootin' the breeze as they call it. Maybe grab a bite to eat and so forth. Thought I would make a little more "formal" thread to discuss what we want to do up here. Places, times, so on and so forth. Seems as if Thursday are open for most. My thoughts were possibly the Burger Time parking lot; it's a little bit smaller, but they have a mean burger there. Anyone else feel free to add your $.02 on where you'd like to meet up or times that work best for everyone. I've seen a lot of you around in the past few years but no one has really taken an initiative to set something up, so let's do just that and get something going for us Northerners.
Thursdays at burger time say 630? Wanna start it next week? If we can get enough interest we could do it weekly or something. grab a bit to eat shoot the breeze than maybe a cruise round town or something. And if we end up getting more cars than parking space we can move it to another place next time we meet. If we can that many to show haha.
Well I've seen quite a few WRXs.. STis.. LGTs.. around here, and I think at least four/five of them are on here that I've talked to. The others I'm not too sure about. I will have to see how my week is looking for next week. Depending on how Wednesday goes I will either have two exams on Friday or none, obviously if I don't have any, I'd be more than happy to meet up (pending weather of course).
We'll have to try and get everyone from here to go. My buddy from the air base is for sure gonna go. So should be a good turn out if all goes to plan haha

I've seen him around a lot, throw him the wave, but haven't seen him on here nor have I talked to him. I will try and flag him down next time I see him.
Haha alright ill do the same. Whenever I see him I'm in my work truck so he doesn't even see me. I have also seen a few brzs around ill do the same with those guys.

Haha yeah I'm single, so thats not too big of an issue! I just sold my S2k and bought a Titan, and then picked up an S13 so now its just the two.
Most certainly this will double for a GF BS thread as well. The 24th should work just fine for me as well. If anyone wants to try and meet this upcoming Thursday the 17th I would be up for it, just need to study a bit depending on if I have an exam on Friday or not. Just post here if you're interested.
So whats the head count for this thursday? I'm for sure going, along with a buddy from base. I'm just interested to see rough count.
As of right now I will be there. That's dependent on in if I and up having exams on Friday morning or not.
I got me and a friend who could make it I will be a little late due to class but 630 on thursdays works great!
Well I'm still thinking I will be there.. If we can get a few of us I think it could be cool. Just grab a burger and chat cars in shizz. Let's see how the weather is going to be for Thursday. I don't think we'll have all too many weeks we can meet outdoors.. Maybe once it's cold we can meet at indoor places and still chat, but we can deal with that as the time comes.
Ill try my best. I might be working I Might not, this weather isn't helping my schedule any. I'd like to get My coilovers on but it's only 2 days away. Also doesn't help I didn't get the lug but key when I got my car!!
As of right now I'm still up for meeting at 6:30. Will probably have to get back to studying shortly afterward, up definitely up to meet some of y'all.
Solid time; good people. Maybe next week we plan on meeting at the parking lot behind the cinema in EGF. That's where we ended up tonight and got a bite to eat at Mike's pub, which was pretty darn good. Hope to see more people out there next week. I will actually take pictures and such of the meet next time around.

Right on, the more the merrier. I think we're going to try and meet in the EGF cinema parking lot - specifically towards in the middle and back (north side) as there generally are several openings there. As of right now it's looking like Thursday isn't going to be a half bad day (in relation to the rest of the week). So cross your fingers for good weather and hopefully we get a solid turn out this time. I'd be more than happy to head back to Mike's pub and grab a bite to eat again. It gets a bit cold standing around.
Kind of getting to be that time again. Let's get a tentative headcount on who is going to be able to come this week. If anyone is able to make it earlier like six-ish I can probably take some photos to throw on here.
