If its not here before the Duluth trip I will have to buy the wrap elsewhere or I may go without it. My dp is scheduled to arrive on the 13th and will be installed before Duluth with or without wrap.

but you wouldn't be able to spray sealant, at least not a proper job.

I'm kinda in the same boat with my uppipe (installing soon). But I guess I could always hold on to the wrap for when I get a downpipe.

With a flex uppipe, would you guys just wrap the exposed ends on either side of the flex? Do you think there'd be any trouble from a heat differential at the boundaries of the wrap <-> flex?

Sorry, I have been in meetings all day today. I got a message from Soren this morning and I should have posted it earlier, but anyways point being we are going to go with the new supplier. It will take probably 2 weeks for things to show up.

Also to this with this initial buy in we are going to let everyone out of the subaru club to ge anything that they supply at cost. Soren will be writing what up for people to see.

Specificaly for the pipe wrap it looks like it is Cool It from Thermo Tech.
They have a ton of differnt ones with differnt layering styles, and also a specific turbo kit for wraping the turbo and down pipe. Thermo Tech also has the hightemp covering spray. My guess is that it will be under 10. Anyways I hope we have all the prices soon. Can you belive they wanted a picture of our store front? Sorry that I havent been so comunacative. I would tell you all what I have to finish at work but it would just put you into a coma of bordom..... anyways here is thermotec's web page you you guys can check out their wrap and see if that is ok with you.

    http://www.thermotec.com/products/products.html

So some of the other manufatures lines that we can get are, Borla, flowmaster, Roush, AutoMeter, Cyberdyne, Aerospace, SSBC, WilWood, US Break, MSD, Power Master, APC, Simpson, G-Force, Bla Bla Bla

There is still a chance that they will say no but I realy think this is going to happen by thursday.

double post. Here are some of the common products. Prices are from Jegs so i'm sure if we are getting them at cost it will be considerably cheaper.

    header wrap 1x50 - 22.99
    copper header wrap 1x50 - 29.99
    starter heat shield - 22.99
    hi-heat coating - 6.99
    turbo wrap -82.99

Yes, it will be cheeper then jegs retail, but considerably might be a little of an overstatment. Probably 8-15% is my guess. Remember there is shipping too but I don't think that stuff is very heavy.

cool, i will have to look through that website when i get a chance.

FYI: they need a pic of the store front to ensure that you arent just going to go ebay the stuff you get at uber cheap. alwso to make sure you are a legit business.

Ok everyone Soren is in L.A. for the weekend and a little bit. He is still on this through the net, but they didn't get back to us yesterday, so I am going to assume that he will not get internet soon enough for me to post during work hours today for prices. I am sorry that this is going this slow. I have a lot more respect for people like Nathane doing his own buisness so to speak.

No he purchased an older one to fix up. Nice little project car. I have 2 more for sale that are for the most part project cars. One that needs a little carb work and another that I haven't inspected yet, but it did drive back from 169 and 694 to 13 and 35W. I probably will not get a chance to realy check it out untill next week. Work is killing me.

The word is that it is in their court to say yes or no to our buisness account....

I didn't get a chance to talk to Soren yesterday, but I will call him after work today. He is still in LA untill next week. Trust me I want this going ASAP too. I have a few more parts to get for the Vet, and a bunch of other things.

Justing - why does the thread turn the "Watch this topic for replies" off

Here is the rest of the good bad and ugly.
    1) Soren's brother comited suicide last week
    2) I am going to be come a father
    3) My freinds just had a kid.

Sorry this has taken so long. The order is ready to go in, finally, and I apologize for the extreme slowness of it all.

For those patient enough to still be interested, please email Soren directly with you wants and they will be added to the order. The order shoul be here just after Thanksgiving. email: [email protected]

    Thanks
