Group Buy: Hella FF1000 It's a GO! Details in my last post!

i'm adding a rule to group buys. if a person says they are going to buy something and a person orders one for them, if the person backs out and doesnt pay AND doesnt find someone to take their product. you will be banned, plain and simple.

 

has this order gone in yet? if not i would like to get some stuff.

i would like the hella super tone kit (HL85315) this is the 113db one.

tommorow i need to take alook at my car and see what kinda lights i can fit in there. so dependin i may or may not get a set of lights. i should know tommorow afternoon.

I'd be willing to make the purchase for the group buy. But this is getting crazy, we need to set a deadline and just do it! Should we start a new thread?

For those Impreza older than 02, I'm sure that we could rig these lights up to make em fit.

Wow! :shock: Will really is a nice guy!!! He wanted to know about who we were and such and he was really happy to hear that MNsubaru.com choose Susquehanna Motorsports (rallylights.com) to make the group buy. In fact, he was so happy to serve our needs, that he wants everyone at MNsubaru.com to enjoy the super 10% discount at any time!!! He asked me to start a new thread to let everyone know that the 10% discount for MNsubaru.com members is permanent! And better yet, the 10% discount works on specials or already discounted items... anything they sell!!!

More good news! The FF1000 WRX kit was on sale! The kit includes two lamps with the bulbs, mounting kit, wires, covers, etc (as stated in original post). With the discount, before shipping, the FF1000 kit was $94.37, not $125 as orginally stated!!! They have to package and weigh everything first before they can tell me exactly what the shipping charges will be. But since we combined everything, with the discount, we saved $115.78 before shipping! So I will know the shipping charges in a couple of hours, they have to call me back.

GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS:

The good: I received the shipment today. Also two Hella decals were included for everyone for FREE. 8) See Pics below.

The bad: They only shipped 6 FF1000 units rather than 7. Received all the horns and everything else.

I got a hold of Wil and he's going to send out the 7th unit. Hopefully I'll have it next week sometime. If there is someone willing to wait for thier fogs, it would be greatly appreciated. There is a free Hella t-shirt coming with #7.

Unforntunately, I can't make it to the ice race :cry: as I am moving to Connecticut very soon. But I have to get to Colorado and back and then drive out to CT. Which is approx 3500 miles within the next two weeks. That's why I can't wait for the fogs as I will be driving at night a lot.

I'll get unit #7 to BP subaru so someone can bring them to you in Orr. Unless someone wants to stop by my house in Bloomington to pick them up when they arrive.

Ok so there was a miss communication between Wil and I. The $93.74 price quote was for an FF1000 kit, but without the WRX mouting bracket. I didn't get the invoice until today. Sorry to get everyone over excited.

The shipping charges were expensive because, in a general way, these things are big and heavy. The fogs are pretty light because of the cast mag case. But wow, those horns are really heavy. It had to be shipped in two boxes as they maxed out the weight/size limit. The total package weight was 67 lbs! :shock: I will inform everyone about the individual prices soon.

Yes that's right folks! Everything is at BP Subaru now.

Aiming the fogs may be a PITA. I have yet to try it and find out. One of the adjustments for aiming is behind the light. So once it's mounted, you can't change that. But with the mounting bracket, small changes can be made while it's mounted in the fog well. I'll give the installation process a whirl tomorrow.
