With a conservative and safe tune, what kind of numbers would I be looking at? Also what does the powerband look like? Anyone on here running something like this?

Which 30R? The GT3076R has three turbine housing options and the GT3071R has a couple too.

That black WRX that rolled at the track in SubieSport was running a 30R, not sure on the size but he had a 2.0 and stock tranny with around 350WHP IIRC.

With a GT3076R which I assume you're talking about should bring you around 350whp? But talk about that tranny.... As for powerband search for it on NASIOC.

I'd be curious about the power band. You really just don't want to go too large, otherwise, you'll have no low end power. Go with as small a turbo as you possibly can that can give you the boost or HP you want to see up to redline. A car is much more enjoyable with a broad power band than it is with a lame low end and hard to control/use peaky top end. Pay attention to shift points too and what rpm range you need the power to exist. If you're drag racing, you want a big turbo. If it's a daily driver, auto-xer, rally-xer, etc., you really should focus on a very wide, usable powerband with a focus for getting spool as early as possible without being annemic up top.
