What is the intended use?? For a little extra you can get the HID retrofit kits for a h3 bulb and it will draw a lot less current.

I got a pair of 100w ones for my driving lights at one of the local auto parts places (advance? I think) a few years ago. still running them. pretty sure they were less than $10 each.

I remember hearing at the time that there was some sort of flash light that used an H3 bulb, and you could get 100w bulbs for super cheap at menards packaged for that application. I don't know if you're likely to find one, but it might be worth a look.

100W H3 bulbs can be bought all over the place. Fleet Farm for sure, and I've seen them many other times.

You can actually get up to 130W H3 bulbs if your housings will handle them (but typically not locally). I may still have some (new in box) if you're interested I can take a look and figure out what I'd want for them.

Oh, and H3 HID conversions generally suck, as the bulb is so stubby that it's hard to make a HID capsule work in the same form factor, so most move the light source well out from where it's supposed to be and mess the pattern up badly.

OTOH, if you get some lights that take H1 bulbs, the HID kits work beautifully in them. Hella 3000's for instance (or the older FF1000 if you can find any).

PIAA makes good lights, and a lot of people like he "iridium" coatings they have.

Hella makes equally good lights, and I generally find them to be cheaper (Avoid Optilux lights like the plague, however, they're Hella's cheap line and are no better than the crap you find in department store auto sections.)

The real question is, what are you trying to achieve? What year/model of car?

so then you don't care much for beam pattern. I would run the HID bulbs in the housing if they fit. I am running some on my off road lights and while the beam pattern is a sharp pencil (which I don't want anyways), they make a incredible amount of light and draw next to nothing for power. That will be your next issue running 100+ watt bulbs. You figure you will need a relay and some good power wire for each pair of bulbs. Figure 14-18 amps of current per set.

ddm tuning has HID sets for pretty much everything. I don't think you will have much luck finding high wattage (and good quality) h7 bulbs.
