    I noticed this about my Pirelli Winter Carving's. They are a harder compound than most winter tires. I actually like that because this is my fourth winter on them and two of those winters were with 300 whp. needless to say I wasn't very nice to them.

    Well I get them mounted up tomorrow morning, pretty excited. I've driven on Haaka's and a couple other snow tires, just never had a set of my own!!! w00t!!1

    not to mention prolonged freeway speeds will start to eject the studs

    Did you guys even drive on studded tires at least a full winter? The arguments against those that you keep saying might have been true 10 years ago and are no longer true, you just have to buy decent studded tires.

    Well, there on the car now. Love em, acually have to work to break them loose. Cant wait for the ice races!!

    You have to have a car that makes decent power first.
