What's the pre-reg price. I have to pay 55 for temp scca membership and the rallyx. is it different? modded? Oh boy... na, nothing big. 16g, suspension, brakes, etc...
Yeah, pre-reg and at-the-event are the same cost (for now, I believe that the only incentive for pre-registration beyond making me feel a lot better is the ability to participate in fun runs (if they happen). People who don't pre-reg/pre-pay aren't eligible for them. We haven't had any this year though. Sounds like M4 to me too, offhand, but I'd have to see the full list and compare it to the rules.

Dave you are in M4 for sure. Like many of us the down pipe alone will put you there, until next season at least.
Off the top of my head, those that have beaten me are but not limited to, Jim Cox, Brent Carlson, Paul Koll, Todd Jarvey, Jason Beck, Kevin Beck, Ted Weidman, Doug Havir and Anthony HooSang. I will tell you that I get most wound up when Jim, Todd or Brent beat me as they have done it multiple times or at least it feels like it. Also, Jason beat me driving the same car, little punk. If technical ability were all that mattered, Jay Luehmann would be kicking all of us around the block and twice on Sunday. Please don't feel slighted if I didn't mention you. I'm tired and old and I forget things. I am flattered to be the carrot that others chase. Enough with the nice stuff...Step right up and get you own steamin' serving of whoop ass courtesy of yours truly. You can TRY to feed it back to me, but you won't succeed. Movie quote #2 of this thread; "Who's the best pilot you ever saw.....you're lookin' at him" Dennis Quaid as Gordo Cooper in "The Right Stuff"
^:laugh:I be the donkey. Lol. Ted W. got ya before Mark!? Nice job Ted! Running the VW? I tried beating Mark by eliminating 9 gates in Corcoran...somehow...they noticed.:dunno:
Jim is good, but he hasn't run that many rallycrosses the last 2-3 years, and I think it's been a while since he took O/A. Brent is good and he's certainly right up there, but he's less visible a target. One, he doesn't usually look fast out there, he just gets to the end in less time. Paul has been in the UP for school for what, 3 years now? Todd runs 1 event a year the last 3-4 years? Jason stopped running regularly about the same time as Paul. Kevin was damn fast last year, but you always seemed to find the answer for him by the end of the day. This year he's spending more time turning a wrench than a steering wheel... Ted. Well. Heh. Ted. Heh. Doug probably has the distinction of the most expensive RallyCross car ever in the USA. And it's been how many years? 5-6? HooSang may be fast, but, well, I'll leave it alone. So you're the guy with the target on his back.
^And I'll be somewhere trailing behind them for at least a 'second to last place' finish..omnom. Setting my standards high right now in preperations! ..carl:wavey:
hahaha! this thread is funny...I will be last and I will enjoy it so no one take away my last place or I will be mad. and yes josh you are an ass jk:wavey: josh and carl
If Scott doesn't co drive the Duster with Brent, maybe I will be forced to run...wouldn't it suck to get beat by a girl?????? in a plymouth???????
i hope it is not a problem that i dont pre reg, there is a chance i am not driving, i will be there for sure though!
You can share the Legacy again if your wagon isn't ready for dirt yet. As long as you promise to disengage the hand brake before you run. Amy
That isn't too likely...but since we will have the kids with, (Grandpa has plans) I won't be running. Maybe next time.
Ellie had a very hard time Tuesday. Noah was very excited and had fun at school. He was so excited at lunch that he didn't even eat half his food. Amy, remember my offer still stands to help replace them.
We did Adam's classroom visit yesterday. He didn't want to leave I think the rest of us are missing some context on this one...
ok, I registered last weekend. yesterday i tried to get back in to pay and I can't figure it out. If there a way to do it? or should I just bring my money to the event? also, I need to bring the completed SCCA RallyCross registration form, correct? Thanks
Just bring the money to the event. Or you can re-pre-registyer and I'll delete one of your entries. The system is still a bit crude.
When we went to visit, Ellie was the one that didn't want to leave! Or get out of Noahs chair for that matter! We told her "two more years", that didn't help. Amy let me drive friday stage 4 at Ojibwe. Not being used to the car and having the seat so far forward that I couldn't see it... I left the parking brake on and drove away. A half mile in, Amy told me to stop left foot braking as the brakes started smelling. Then a few turns later without ever touching the brakes, it gets worse! Then she saw the handbrake lever up!! I felt terrible. I told her I'll help replace them, but she may have been to mad at me at the time to hear.
No worries. I was a bit peeved at the time but time heals. I still can't believe you didn't notice the lack of power, though if I had it adjusted properly you wouldn't have been able to over come it as easily. As soon as I find the time, we'll take care of it. I appreciate your offer. I'll have to check the manual as to what is involved changing the inner shoes for the hand brake. I will let you live it down. Eventualy.
Actually Amy, replacing the ebrake pads is pretty intense from what I hear, especially on your style of legacy. I think you have to start by washing the entire car inside and out, then followed by a detailed polish and wax job. THEN you have scrub the wheel wells thoroughly...after all that you finally have access to the rear brakes. Once all that is done the actual brake rotor removal and ebrake pad replacement is a snap. GL stick:biggrin:
I can see it now... Noah... Ellie, come help Daddy wash Amys car. Ellie! No, not the wire brush!! :eek3:
Noah! Don't hit the nozzel on Amy's car! (he has experience with that one...ask Grandpa about the Jeepster)
