    I can't believe in all the time I have spent on Subaru forums, I have never seen a mention of this quirky Subaru feature. I have to believe it worked for maybe the warranty period...maybe.

    Yeah my gl wagon had one that worked. Sold it to pay for the entire car in college

    Lol, that is interesting. Is it like a cop spotlight? That would definitely assist with passing when you have 67hp!

    Just think of all the other neat stuff you could hide under that flip up emblem.

    Q should have build a GL for Bond.

    Yep, the Cyclops light. I've only seen a couple in person. Always wanted to try to retrofit one to my Loyale, but would have been a ridiculously large project as it was a completely different body style.
