Yep I guess we see Sheen everywhere... I am on 100 a lot lately and I do believe I have seen this douch.

 

I can only imagine! Every time I go to Mircocenter I end up leaving feeling like I've been sucked into some parallel universe... What color is the eclipse, body style?

ahaha happen to me the other day.

 

The worst one was when I was driving my 240.. All the suspension bits but no go fast bits lol.. Anyway I had some guy in a brand new ctsv with some mods want to race.. So I pushed the od button(auto) to make the exhaust loud and put my head back into the head rest to make it seem like I actually was pushing the gas lol And watched him floor it and then he had to lock up his brakes and almost hit the guard rail before almost plowing into the car in front of him.

What is it about wagons that makes the D-bags want to race? Enkeis, roll bar, Sparco seat, exhaust, etc on my Miata and no one bothers me. Drive a Volvo wagon with rimz-n-tint and every wanker in Eau Claire thinks I'm game. I don't own the car anymore but when I did I felt I was always being hassled by FWD mafia.

True story:
EK Civic in standard rice ball trim pulls up and revs loudly at me. The guy has his GF in the car and they're both smirking. I've got my wife and both kids in my 850 wagon (turbo, debadged). The kids are cheering for me to kick his ass. I proceed to do so. The wife says to me "Ok, back off before his girlie dumps him".

 

Awesome story. Idk why people do it. People used to try and race me all the time in my old focus but not alot of races for the Subaru.

 

Right when I say no one has ever wanted to race me, someone does. Some high school or college student in a mid 90's chryler something dove up real fast behind and got next to me and rev'ed his engine at me 3 times while we're going 70 mph on 35E in Eagan. I wasn't gonna waste my time/hp on that. Must be my new loud exhaust and mufflers and fat mud flaps that made him want to race me. Me no racing you, Me just cruise

 

Must be the same one. Some kind of green color 2 door chrysler something. Dumb HS or college student. Just how they always were back then

 

Or spinner hub caps.

i hear that a lot about the 850's/v70's, all it takes is a little tint/debadging and people come out of the woodwork.

I don't get much interest in the bugeye, but with no wing,tint, stock wheels, and car seats it doesn't really surprise me nor do i want attention.

The s60r though, it's practically once a week all summer when on 35w/10 since the volvo has big brakes and oem body kit. Usually it's an older accord/civic/legend that sounds far from being tuned properly. It's always when i'm moving on the highway too. The least they could do is take my fat pig of a car at a light and not when my car is strongest with plenty of boost at the ready.

I never race as cheap insurance and clean record trump showing you what i already know will happen should i race your improperly maintained car- i know what my car is and isn't capable of doing. I'd rather save the money for my slowly growing track fund and keep roads safe out there. I prefer to nod at other enthusiasts acknowledging interest/respect of others' cars-even if they aren't always my cup of tea.

Yeah, right at/around cobb stg 2 #'s for an lgt. Couldn't remember but did you say yours was still stock? It's not is it gonna be reliable, it's how is the owner at driving and maintaining her.

 

I race people all the time, they just don't know we're racing so normally I win and keep my ratio higher.

 

Same here, I race to see who'll get across the intersection first. I always win. It's a 2 sec race. That's the only street racing I do! lol

 

yea, the day i put my lowering springs on i had a guy try and race.. i cant imagine what it will be like once i get the wheels on.. but i just gotta keep living my life a quarter mile at a time cause for those 13 secs or less im not fast enough lol.. im stage 2 right now, but im thinking bigger turbo/intercooler... i have every maintenance record ever created for the car as well as gas receipts for every fill up lol.. i dont drive mine hard and keep it well up to date with everything. i also only used quality parts and havent cheaped out on anything..
