    Car: 2003 WRX, 107k miles
    Modifications: Stock
Problem Description: Noticed oil in the coolant overflow tank. Just changed the oil. There was coolant in that, and about a quart low after 3000 miles. Car is not over-heating and seems to be running alright.
    Recent Modifications/Maintenance: nothing

I'm new to working on my own car, and just want a little confirmation on if the head gasket is my problem here.

Also, I'd like to have some part in fixing this, so if there's anyone out there who would do this on the side, and wouldn't mind me watching and helping when I can, contact me.

Let me know if you guys need any more information or if there's more I should check to ensure this is the problem. Thanks for the help!

At your shop, what else do you usually replace when you're doing head gaskets? And I'm thinking stronger head studs, would you suggest that? I don't have immediate plans for more power, but maybe down the road.

I may be mistaken but pull your oil dip stick and if oil sprays out, then headgasket.

I would call and talk with them, easier.

Email is actually fastest. ([email protected])

Always depends on your goal. Upgrade head studs aren't necessary I'd say under 350whp.
Heads get hot tank, milled and pressure tested, block gets cleaned and tested for straightness.
