I fear the 06 is seeing its last days with me if this continues. a long time ago i installed an hid kit for my low beams and it worked great for 3 years, then my right headlight would have trouble turning on but turn the dial a few times and it would go on. (i pulled the day time running lamps harness on the passenger side) this week it died completely, but now i have another problem, as of last night when my highs are off my high beam light turns on and off when they are on.... Sides notes:I had a subwoofer installed 2 days ago and now my radio has bad reception. could this be a grounding issue?
You're going to get rid of your car because your aftermarket HID ballasts took a crap? Chinese HID kits are like 60 bucks a set, replace them. Read that to yourself outloud and ask yourself "Did I write out a complete thought." Sounds to me like you should take it back to whomever installed the subwoofer and demand they check the wiring.
I looked further into it and now the brights on the right side no longer work. in a nut shell it seems like power to the whole right headlight is gone but the small running light still works. about the radio the antenna cable wasn't in all the way. thx best buy
I'll take it... Did the headlight issue happen after the Sub was installed? How big is the amp for the sub? Who installed the sub? who installed the HIDs?
HID'S were installed 3 years ago by audio garage, yes after the sub for the high beams, no for the lows, 500 watt only using 100 on the sub, installed by best buy.
