So i noticed a slight hissing sound and found that one of my header stud came loose and fell out. This was previously stripped and i was just trying to avoid it as long as possible. Now its completely stripped and will need a helicoil insert. does anyone have a set they can help me, or any tips would also help alot.

I have the kit for this exact problem. The thread came out with one of my manifold studs when I was doing my headgaskets. I still have like 8 inserts, the drill-bit/tap, and install tool. I would highly suggest doing the JB weld method as mine came out again after a few removals. Just be careful when drilling, you don't want to get into a water jacket. You can borrow the kit if you want, PM me for contact info.

Didn't you just have a front-end collision? Maybe that has something to do with it...?

JB has a slightly higher temperature rating than red loctite but I'm sure either would work.
