Hella Supertone Install

    this is probably the case as i've heard them more, it just seems that it takes some time to get to full power

    Finally got mine installed today on my '07. I hope to post some notes soon. Mine don't seem to be as loud as the set on chuanpreza's wrx. Any ideas? We used the exact same wire and other parts.

    Did you leave one of the stock horns hooked up? I think Luke still has one stock horn going, so that adds a bit. Otherwise, maybe check the ground on the horns, assuming you grounded to the mounting bolts, maybe you need to sand off some paint. I know we were using lock washers when we did the installs at Nathan's, that digs into the paint a bit to get good ground.

    Yup, I left one of the stock horns hooked up. I did ground the horn to the bolt holding the horn to the car, but it's something with paint. I'm going to test the grounding theory by attaching directly to the battery ground tonight.

    PS: Luke, the alarm DOES use the hella, got to test that today!
