Alright I have everything I need minus the Throw out bearing, pilot bearing and clutch and flywheel bolts.

    Questions:
    1. Do you guys recommend Subaru TOB and Pilot Bearings? I know in the DSM world the aftermarket TOBs suck balls and to only use OEM.
    2. Flywheel bolts. Dealership didnt have any in stock they told me to try harware store. Dont like that idea at all but if worst comes to worst what is the thread pitch of the flywheel bolts? Or does anyone have a spare good set I could buy/have?
    3. Clutch bolts. What is the thread pitch?

    Thanks for the help!
    Mike

I've used a number of different clutch kits, and not had problems with the bearings. I had a napa reman'd clutch kit that was garbage, but the bearings held up fine. And I've used Beck/Arnley kits on 3 cars.....and the bearings were great.

I would only go OEM for clutch and flywheel bolts. maybe junkyard?

I should have a used set or 2 of clutch/flywheel bolts... assuming I can find them.

The aftermarket bearings work great, BUT dont have the longevity that a Subaru OEM T/O bearing would have.

We dont have the bolts in stock either. But we can get them in 2 days (not including weekends). Don't go through a hardware store, I dont know which dealership would have said that... But its not right. Those bolts are uber cheap through Subaru. (Under $10 for flywheel and clutch bolts)

PM me if you find them!

Brooklyn Park Subaru told me that. I know better then to do that tho. I was hoping to swap the tranny on sunday so two days is too long.
