    ;) Where can I get a 18mm x 1.5 bolt locally?

Or should I just put the o2 sensor back on. I have an AP.

Put the sensor back in. The car uses the rear o2 sensor for fuel trims (somewhat).

If it's a 2.0L car, it won't be that big of deal.

02 sensors are a standard size/thread. I don't think they are that small. 18mm sounds right.

Your right. I thought it was smaller. But it is 18x1.5. Go buy a oil drain plug from the parts store.

Sorry this is semi off topic. I'd like to state my understanding (as it has been shaped by various threads) of the rear o2's effect on fuel trims, so someone can tell me I'm wrong.

The fuel adjustments made from the rear o2 reading are binary (2 options; no in-between).
Situation 1, an o2 sensor is present and gets a reading anywhere in the ballpark.
Situation 2, o2 sensor does not provide a reading (or is reading WAY out of the ballpark), the ECU is angry and switches to an alternate map (or alternate value within a map).

    Can someone flame or confirm?
