Help!!!

    i have a 2003 wrx and I cant for anything get the tranny off the engine. any advice will help thankyou

    Take the pin for the clutch fork out, and pull the clutch fork up off the release bearing.


    The pin is behind a hex key plug behind the slave cylinder. I think it is 10mm hex. Then use a 10mm bolt to thread into the pin and pull it out.




    We need a sticky for this.

    Edit: It's in front of the slave, and it is a 10mm hex.

    I did that, used the service manuals, the aluminum was stuck togther i got it by wedging a 2x4 between the front crossmember and kickin the snot out of it.

    yea 1st time i seperated my tranny it seemed like it was kinda coroded 2 geather or something.

    they don't like to come apart...but with some leverage and a few tugs they will break free

    call fuji and use his hmong knife to separate the two...
