I was on 35 cruise controlling at 65 and used the on wheel accel button to speed up to 70. I pushed and held the button and it first hesitated and I swear i smelt a slight fuel smell. After that, nothing different. It hasn't done it since and it hasn't been acting funny or anything. What could this be? I'm on the stock tune with just a CBE for now. 2010 WRX.
At 65 your rpm is still pretty low. The factory tune has a really stupid, yes as in dumb, close loop to open loop transition. There is no fuel added until past 4100 rpm and will cause hesitation specially in high gear(5th). I'm assuming that's what you experienced.
