its a boost leak. Look around the area of your intercooler.

+1 for doing smoke or pressure test for boost leak. there are many DIY instructions for making a contraption to test this on the cheap and easy

I had this issue on my old wrx. Sounds like a ballon when you pinch the end correct? Check the gaskets on the intercooler. The bov gasket and the ones on the back for the y pipe. Make sure the bolts are snug.

It was a silicone hose from the tb to the tmic. It was too long. Once I trimmed it down a little the squeaking went away. Essentially a boost leak, but I could not detect it with my boost leak tester.

That's right where those couplers usually live. If it's silicone it's aftermarket. Wonder if you just had a janky fit. Usually I hear about issues with those being too short if anything. Probably fixed it just be putting it back together snug... Regardless, success! :)
