my car is a 96 impreza 2.2 with a homebrew turbo setup running about 10psi and an safc to control the fuel along with a handful of other mods. Recently at high rpms(5250 to 6000) at wot it has been stuttering and when this happens i notice a drastic decline in power. my a/f gauge does not show any change. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks!
that one of the things i was thinking. wasnt sure though because i have lgt injectors somewhere aroung 370cc and a wrx fuel pump.
recheck your pipes for any leaks. Then check your MAF to make sure it isn't wet or dirty.... try again. Check your plugs..
did a quick boost leak test in auto shop today...and found a MASSIVE boost leak. definately was not getting 10psi anywhere past the intercooler. Made a quick repair, out everything back together, started it up and holy crap did it run terrible. wayyyy rich and almost no power. limped it home and opened the hood to take another look. forgot to plug the maf in smh. plugged it in and went for a ride. wow does it pull hard with the new 22t cams at 10psi. caught me off gaurd. anyway she runs like a dream. thanks for the help guys!
