horn not working, think its the relay.

    almost got hit today, try to honk but didn't work. fuse is good. I think its the relay went to pep boy they didn't have it but it was open. part # is 82501FC000. how much are these at the dealer? Might stop by the dealership in tonka.

    I'd post in the Morries Parts thread or give them a call for an official quote, but a quick google shows them around $35-40 online.

    Are you sure is not the clock spring at fault? One time my RS horn didn't work and it turn out to be the clock spring. Anyway GL with the repair.

    take out another relay like on for the wipers and place that in the horn relay spot to make sure is the relay

    when I honk it just make a click sound. most of the people say it's the relay but i'll try that tomorrow.

    it has those hella tone or whatever it is call.

    ^ I have the same issue with my supertones. I dont even get a click when I push the horn button. Please post up if replacing the relay fixes the issue for you.

    I would use a multimeter and try to debug the problem before buying a relay, it could be a bad ground, etc. Especially since the supertones would require some custom wiring that could easily get corroded. Also, if there is a second relay (common for supertone installs), check that as well.

    my fuse went out on my hella horns to. my stock fuse was fine just needed to replace the fuse that came with the horns and then they worked great.

    not the relay. I didn't even know there was a fuse for the supertone. i dont see it but havent look at it yet. thanks guy.

    They don't come with one, but a proper install will include a fuse between the battery and the relay for the supertones.

    found that fuse, its actually the horn, just connect back to the stock. :( I need new tires for my bike so probably won't buy new supertone.

    i was going to say that you can find the replacement relays on sites like digikey for WAY cheaper
