How do I post pictures on here?

    Ok this may be a noobish question. But how do I post pictures on here? I'd like to show you guys my 14 3.6R but I don't know how to post them. What is the best picture hosting site so I can post them and what not. Thanks

    We’d love to see some! What platform are you using? Mobile phone, computer, etc?

    I use an iPhone and it is pretty straight forward. For what it’s worth, nearly everyone struggles or has struggled with photos on this site. Lol

    I've found that almost all the pictures I post off of my phone, I have to resize. They are all too big for the site. So if you're taking pictures from your phone, leave some room to crop the picture.

    That will get you a “thumbnail” that can be clicked on. If you go down to the image and click full size, it will look like this...

    Picture upload has size requirements. It shows the requirements in the upload screen. I use my phone for pictures. I change the picture setting to the smallest size and sometimes still have to crop it.

    I have found that it is sometimes easier to take a screenshot of the photo, and then cropping it, works best to get it even smaller.

    Are you clicking on the “image icon”? this...

    Select “upload a file”, select “take photo” or “photo library”, depending on what you are posting.

    Then select the photo. It should then upload to the site, unless it’s too large.


    Then click on “full size” or “thumbnail” for the displays appearance on the forum. Pic below...

    I see what he's talking about I had to resize that image like 6 times to make it small enough haha. For some reason it also came out with 3 copies that I had to edit out. I probably screwed up cuz am newb.

    Worry not. I've been "here" for several years and still hate posting pics. If it was easier I'd be way more inclined to share things, but it makes it so difficult it's not even worth the hassle most of the time.

    If you go to “preview post” before posting, you should be able to see that there are “3” attachments or however many. You can delete two. Or, if you have already posted it and see that your post has more than one, with exception of a for sale thread, you can edit and delete as needed.

    FWIW, posting pics has always been a pita on here. It’s not just you;)
