ok i have done a little research on how to do it but its still a lil foggy to me on the info i seen.. for those who have done it maybe can help me before i tune my car this spring. ok i made the cap with the valve stem so far and now i just want to know what the safe way to do this.. the say dont go over 15psi and go very slow.. Question 1. do you have 15psi to start out with on the compressor and wait 10 minutes to fill or do you put like 60-80psi from the compressor and watch your boost gauge till its close to 12-15psi?
question 2. I heard alot about doing it wrong and blowing the cam seal but if you take the oil cap off like a few people said doesnt that make it so u dont build preasure? Question 3.
i seen a few ways on what hoses to plug off but nothing really clear on what works best.. i seen one where they just vice gripper one big hose and others that just capped the purge valve.
as of now i have a sti intercooler, sti bpv, perrin inlet pipe and injen intake. It feels like i have a boost leak somewhere but i dont want to wreck anything cause this is my daily driver... any info will help alot... Thanks

You can cap all the lines for the purge valve if you don't want it squealing at you. The output of your compressor should match your manifold pressure pretty closely so DO NOT crank it to 80 psi. Just turn up your compressor until you have 10-20psi in the system and inspect for leaks. You should not blow anything at 15+ psi. Your car likely sees that on a daily basis.
