How to jack up all four side of a 2008 wrx.

    This is a neewbie question but, im trying to install my short shifter bushings and i need to raise the whole car up. Where would i jack up the front end and rear end? Any adice would up please.

    There's a jacking point in the front just behind the oil pan. Rear diff woks well for the back.

    Ok. And how am I gonna get to that with the under cover covering it? Wouldnt you need to take the under cover off before u can reach that jack point?

    No, just behind the undertray. Make sure to use jackstands. You can put those on the pinch welds.

    Im afraid my jack cant reach that far without getting stuck on the under tray. I dont have a low profile jack.

    Use a couple of 2x4s and drive up on them, then push the jack under.

    Buy a jack that works? I mean you do own the car for the next 5 - 10 years (?)... might be a good investment.
