I like those wheels! What are they? (for us lame peeps that don't automatically recognize every wheel in existence...)
Subaru parts apparently fit a Supra with a little massaging. Found a home for the STI pedals I had laying around.
Plan was to see Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. We got in around 830pm local and crashed for the night, did the trip down to those two, then came back up to Denver and had a few local beers and a burger. Went back to the hotel. Today we're heading to Salt Lake City for the night, then Vegas Wednesday through Monday. Time up the mountain was almost an hour because of super slow people.
Nice wife and I were there a couple weeks ago. Did garden of the gods and cave of the winds. I had been to garden of the gods before. Its a cool place. Best hotel I've ever stayed at was in denver. If you ever go back deff checkit out. http://www.woolleysclassicsuites.com/
Timpanogos pass. The speed limit is 20 and they're not kidding. Anything faster than about 25 is sketchy as ****, and only partially because it's a two way road that's only two cars wide... about half of the time.
I grabbed this picture off of the Dailymail website reporting on the carnage in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria. Are you alright? Safe? I thought you went to Colorado?
Hit the grand canyon, did a bit of hiking. Found a good photo spot. Drove from there to Flagstaff where we spent the night. Next day we visited the meteor crater, then marathoned home. Including the trip to the meteor crater, two stops from being pulled over (no tickets), and an hour nap, I did the drive from Flagstaff AZ to Blaine in under 27 hours.
https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/4754996/halloween-display-ocean-county-new-jersey-car-crash/ the owner of the Supra uses it for "drift racing"
Last 28 hour trip I did was a cube of Mtn. Dew and a carton of cigs back when i smoked (Coon Rapids to Greensboro, NC) as a comparison. Nice CO pics, those 2 places were my old stomping grounds when I was stationed out there. We used to do "fun hikes" up Pike's Peak and did a lot of rock climbing in GoG.
Cool thread! I remember looking in awe at a Supra on the showroom floor Back in 1983 and I still haven't bought one
Mk2 Supra is high on the list of additional cars to own. Dream JDM garage: '05 STI (white) '05 LGT (extensive list of things I'd do, pearl white) Manual swapped SVX (blue) Mk2 Supra (black) Mk3 Supra (white) Mk4 Supra (their bronzish gunmetal) 1st Gen NSX (pop up headlights, red) AP2 S2000 (silver) R32 GTST-M (white or gunmetal) R33 GTR (white) R34 GTR NUR VSPEC II (that greenish amazeballs color) Stagea with R34 front end (pearl white) I could go on
Nissubishi or mitsubisan StarioR-34? Both are equally difficult and ridiculous to say. mkiii supra was my first (not hand-me-down car)... had a '87 in '98 in full-on 80's maroon on maroon. Thinking about getting back into one. Otherwise probably end up with a jdm mkiv.
I couldn't find a pic, believe me... I looked. I did however consider posting the "Kill Meeeee" monster from South Park
