    Hey Guys.
We just took in an 08 wrx with stage 2 mods at my dealership. The AP2 was stolen out of the car since it's short time here. In short, I need to borrow your AP2 to marry and then un-marry the ECU so I can get it opensource tuned and ready to sell.

I can repay you by buying you lunch, dinner, a case of beer or even be your slave (not for sex!) for a favor you may need in the future.

My dealer is located in Stillwater, but I can meet or come to you. Who can hook a brother up?

If you can provide Cobb proof that it was stolen, they will sell you an AP at a discount. Just another option if all you need is to flash an OTS stg2 tune on it.

What do I need to do to prove this? The car was traded in with the AP2, but there are no receipts of purchase that came with the car. We generally do not contact the previous owner once we own the vehicle.

I can lend you my AP2 since my turbo is out being rebuilt.
Would it even allow you to marry my AP2 to your car since yours is married to another?
    AP polygamy?

Probably a police report or something similar, you can always call their support line and see what they can do for you -- as a dealer, they will probably trust you more than some random dude that phones them up.

You can overwrite a married ECU, it just means that you'll lose whatever ROM is on it currently (not a big deal if it's an OTS map, more annoying if it was a protune...)

PM me your number. Thanks so much.

I don't know if it was an OTS map or protune. Marrying and then un-marrying and tuning opensource will probably be the most cost effective way to go at this point and still be safe and reliable for the next owner. I appreciate your advice and info Eric.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the SUB-002 won't work. That's the GD part, they need the SUB-003 if my memory is acting right.
