It took maybe 15 minutes to geth through my wife and myself wrangling our 3 year old and filling out the ballots at the same time. We waited until 10am to head to the polls though, because we didn't want to deal with the morning/lunch/evening rush.
Went at 11 here in Mayer, got in, registered, voted and was out. No one in line. when I left there were 4 more voters there. Small Towns are sweet!
Voted a month ago. Absentee style since I just moved down from Duluth in July and finally got an apartment a few days ago. They should give you a "I Voted" sticker when you vote absentee...
Well the one in Stadium Village has a line around the corner. I'm gonna assume the campus location is running the deal. It's worth a shot anyhow... now to track down an "I voted" sticker.
Went with my roomies (had to vouch for them) around 9:30 this morning in Saint Paul. Was empty and only took around 20 minutes total. Was voter number 598, though! Good turnout already .
^ it says on the little voucher they give you to claim your ballot or also on the machine. I was voter 853. Took about 10 minutes in and out.
Took me twenty minutes... No line. Just walked in and started filling it out. Good times. Get out and do it if you haven't already... No matter who you're voting for. Use your voice
I went after work today at around 4pm. I literally walked right in, gave them my registration since I didn't get it taken care of prior to the deadline, and was done in about 15 minutes. Zero line, no muss no fuss. I was happy I didn't have to waste too much time standing. -Steve
^ so did i. although i heard that there is skeptisim on that bill because there was no written statement that said they would use all that money for just treating our lakes and rivers etc. the news (i know dont beleive everything you hear) said that a large portion of that is going to all of the minneapolis arts, like the guthery, and probably the sculpture gardens. and all that ****. what i dont understand is if they are distributing all that tax money income why wouldnt you state that on the ballot?
walked right in and got a spot, no waiting--at about 3:30... as I was walking out, there was seriously a line of about 50 people. what timing...!
pssh, you know what? My water comes out BROWN, and leaves sediment all over my dishes. I don't want to drink it. I do not want our pets to drink it. Show me an "act" that addresses this issue, and i'll vote for it. THAT is what Clean Water Action should be about. Screw the lakes, rivers, everything. What about the stuff that goes into our bodies?!
My gamble to go in at 2 paid off huge. Walked in, did my bizness and was out of there in 10 mins. I was in the 620's.
no line for me oh and it's the end of our republic as we know it *knock knock* Oh hi mr. "tax" collector, you want to take away some of my hard earned money and give it to the bum collecting welfare, not working, and stretching his disability check to pay his $500k mortgage payment. Sure, let me just get my checkbook.... Rediculous
It's not the end of the world, just the end of us middle income people keeping the majority of our paychecks.
w00000t. As long as everyone's tossing in their 2c. Great job America! History in the making. Time for some change around this place. I'm obviously not the only one excited about where this country can go with this man as our leader.
id rather pay a **** load of taxes then sit and watch that debt increase over the years.... just LIVE within your means
